I want to go in on a few things that in my humble great opinion are overrated. There is a whole lot of things out there getting way too much love and adulation. Making things that are truly worth the praise seem meaningless. Calle 13’s album Residente o Visitante(the video above is my favorite cut on the album) has stayed in my heavy rotation almost a year since its release which is more than I can say about any other album. I think Lead singer/rapper Residente is the main reason why, dude is lyrical, funny, witty uses a ton of metaphors and seems to be having fun spitting. I wish most of y’all understood spanish so you could see the genius that he is, but unfortunately not everybody speaks spanish(word to my ESL cats). So everybody probably knows Borat and Ali G but my favorite character Sacha Baron Cohen plays is ‘Bruno’ the Gay Austrian Tv Journalist. Bruno makes random people feel uncomfortable when he openly gays it up and akward line of questioning i.e. to a Christian Minister, Bruno Says ‘if a hot guy comes close to you, how can you not have sex with him’ or ‘Can you wash my gayness off of me and cure me’…..LOL well Sacha is filming a movie on Bruno as we speak, so I wanted to share some clips with you.
