I want to go in on a few things that in my humble  great opinion are overrated. There is a whole lot of things out there getting way too much love and adulation. Making things that are truly worth the praise seem meaningless.  Every-time I see these things or thoughts on whatever forum i.e. TV, Print, Internets etc.  in the back of my mind a Crowded Basketball Gym Chants OVERRATED!  So I just wanted to Finally go in… (more…)

“Chicago veteran Twista has launched a new record label called the Get Money Gang, and he is preparing for the release of the imprint’s first project from the Speedknot Mobstaz. The Chicago based duo, which consists of MC’s Liffy Stokes and Mayz, notably appeared on Twista’s 1997 LP Adrenaline Rush. They released their debut album, Mobstability in 1998 and went on to tour with Twista and appear on a number of the rapidfire MC’s follow up albums. The Mobstaz latest project, Mobstability II: Nation Bizness will be distributed by KOCH Records and features appearances from Twista and Jim Jones. “The album is the streets just like the first one was,” says Mayz. “We don’t have to create a fake image; we just have to let our soul speak to the people.” Production duties on the project were handled by Chi-town producer Cuzzo and China White Productions.“
