Calle 13’s album Residente o Visitante(the video above is my favorite cut on the album) has stayed in my heavy rotation almost a year since its release which is more than I can say about any other album. I think Lead singer/rapper Residente is the main reason why, dude is lyrical, funny, witty uses a ton of metaphors and seems to be having fun spitting. I wish most of y’all understood spanish so you could see the genius that he is, but unfortunately not everybody speaks spanish(word to my ESL cats). I will try to loosely translate one of my favorite rhymes from him for you here.
