Guilty Pleasure Du’ Jor..
Jan 7, 2008 Author: I Fux | Filed under: Guilty Pleasure I am going to do this once a week where I pick a song in a genre that has nothing to do with hip-hop but gets majah play in my Ipizzle and I otherwise would be ashamed to admit to liking it. This weeks pick is Eric Clapton’s - If I could Change the World. Look I dont know Much about Mr. Clapton other than that he is revered in rock music circles, but I do know the first time I saw this I didn’t change the station; that was astonishing in and of itself because I was in 9th grade or so and all I listened to was rap and the occasional pop or mariachi music. This song goes hard rap or not, next week I will come a little bit harder with something dope and not hip-hop.

I love “Wild is the Wind” by Nina Simone.
It’s sad but I play it over and over again.

I think “Change the world” has Babyface on it too. Nice track.
“I’m embarassed to tell people what I do with my life, to think that what I do is the same as what Eric Clapton does. He’s raping it, he’s puking on it, he’s pissing on it. For that reason I don’t want to be a part of it.”
Whatchu know about that?
